Not your average bowling alley.

bowling - cocktails - nightlife

Santa MOnica

West Side Lanes isn’t a bowling alley. It’s a cocktail-first venue with layers: an outdoor lounge on Third Street Promenade, a bright indoor bar, and a hidden speakeasy bowling lounge that transforms into a nightclub.

Westside Lanes

Draft cocktails. Boutique lanes.

Big nights.

From the street, West Side Lanes feels like a vibrant cocktail bar - colorful, relaxed, alive with natural light. Step further in and you discover four boutique lanes hidden behind the bar, a speakeasy-style lounge designed for groups, DJs, and late-night energy.

Outside, the seating spills onto Third Street Promenade with greenery, rattan textures, and colorful details. Inside, the space is tropical, tactile, and playful — a setting that feels bright and welcoming in the day, and moody and immersive by night.

Whats New?

We didn’t want another dark, retro bowling alley. West Side Lanes is designed to flip the expectation: light-filled, tropical, and coastal by day; immersive, music-driven, and atmospheric at night.
The lanes are intimate - just four of them - making bowling part of the experience, not the whole identity. Every element is built around hospitality, not novelty.

The space is built for duality. By day and evening, it’s a cocktail-first bar with bowling as a cultural hook.

By night, the lanes cover, the lights shift, and the energy becomes a 350-capacity nightclub. DJs take over, groups stay late, and the entire venue transforms.

Designed with rattan, wood, and greenery. A venue that feels more like a tropical lounge than a bowling alley — colorful, playful, and comfortable.

It’s not about nostalgia. It’s about building something new for Los Angeles nightlife: a venue that’s both social and stylish, both approachable and unforgettable.
